Welcome to Velocity Island Park. By accessing our website (velocityislandpark.com) or visiting our park, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of Website

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate bookings for Velocity Island Park activities, events, and services. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of this website at any time without prior notice.

2. Booking Terms

All bookings are made through our third-party booking platform, Xola. By making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Bookings are subject to availability.

All sales are final. Tickets, session bookings, and activity passes are non-refundable.
Party and event deposits: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for all birthday parties, corporate events, and group reservations. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.
Weather-related changes: In the event of weather-related closures or unsafe conditions, credits may be issued on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Velocity Island Park management. Refunds are not guaranteed for weather cancellations.
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session time
Late arrivals may result in reduced session time with no refund for the missed portion
Group bookings and event packages may have additional terms communicated at the time of booking

3. No Refund Policy

All sales are final. Tickets, session passes, season passes, gift cards, party packages, and all other purchases are non-refundable once completed, whether made online, by phone, or in person.

In limited circumstances (such as extended weather closures or equipment failure), we may offer credits toward future visits on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Credits are not transferable and have an expiration date set at the time of issuance.

Credit requests must be made within 7 days of the scheduled visit by contacting us at info@velocityislandpark.com or (530) 723-6885.

4. Waiver Requirement

All participants in water activities at Velocity Island Park must have a signed waiver on file before participating. This includes the aqua park, wakeboarding, swim beach, paddle boarding, and all other water-based activities.

Participants under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian
We strongly recommend completing your waiver online before arrival through SmartWaiver. You can do it on-site, but online is much faster
We strongly recommend completing your waiver online before arrival to speed up your check-in
Waivers are valid for the 2026 season

5. Assumption of Risk

Velocity Island Park offers recreational water activities that carry inherent risks of injury. Water sports, by their nature, involve risk. By participating in any activity at the park, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks, including but not limited to:

Risk of drowning or near-drowning
Risk of physical injury from falls, collisions, or contact with equipment
Risk of injury related to water sports, including wakeboarding, paddle boarding, and use of the aqua park
Risk of sunburn, heat-related illness, or exposure to natural elements
Risk of injury from other participants or guests

Velocity Island Park provides safety equipment including life jackets (required for all aqua park participants), safety briefings, and trained lifeguards on duty during operating hours. All participants are expected to follow safety rules and instructions from park staff at all times.

6. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velocity Island Park, its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

Your use of or inability to use the park or its facilities
Any injury, illness, or property damage sustained during your visit
Actions or omissions of other guests or third parties
Weather conditions, natural events, or other circumstances beyond our control
Errors or inaccuracies on this website

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

7. Park Rules

All guests must follow park rules and safety guidelines while on the premises. Key rules include:

No outside food or beverages are permitted inside the park. Food and drinks are available for purchase at Costa Fuego restaurant and park concessions.
Proper swim attire is required for all water activities
Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on the aqua park
Life jackets are required for all aqua park participants and are provided by the park
Guests who are intoxicated or behave in a manner that endangers themselves or others may be removed from the park without refund
Pets are not permitted (service animals excepted)

Park staff have the authority to remove any guest who violates park rules, behaves in an unsafe manner, or disrupts the experience of other guests. Removed guests will not be entitled to a refund. For complete park rules, please visit our Rules & Safety Now Hiring! page.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and design elements, is the property of Velocity Island Park or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Velocity Island Park name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Velocity Island Park. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Velocity Island Park, its owners, operators, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of our website or services
Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your conduct at the park

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the park shall be resolved in the courts located in Yolo County, California.

11. Photography and Media

Velocity Island Park may photograph or record video of guests and activities at the park for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes. By entering the park, you consent to the use of your likeness in such materials unless you notify park staff in writing at the time of your visit.

12. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites and services (such as Xola for booking, SmartWaiver for waivers, and social media platforms). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and conditions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website or park after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
