Lake Day
Claim a beach site, set up under a palapa, and spend the day wakeboarding, hitting the aqua park, swimming, and paddle boarding. Grab food and drinks from Costa Fuego between sessions. The perfect recruitment event, end-of-year celebration, or just-because hangout.
Evening Bonfire
As the sun goes down, the beach bonfires light up. S'mores kits, wine packages, and handcrafted cocktails from Costa Fuego make this the ideal date party or philanthropy fundraiser. Laid back, lakeside, and totally different from the usual scene.
Night at Velocity
Wakeboarding under the lights, the aqua park after dark, live music from the floating stage on the water, and a whole different energy on the lake. Night events are perfect for socials, mixers, and end-of-quarter celebrations. A private event your chapter will not stop talking about.
Foam Party
Foam parties are a huge hit with college groups. Cannons, music, and a crowd having the time of their lives. Perfect for recruitment events, end-of-year blowouts, or just because. These fill up fast, so plan early.
Formal at The Silos
The Silos Event Center is a stunning converted grain silo right on the property. Host your chapter dinner, awards ceremony, or formal event in a unique lakefront setting. Full catering and bar available through Costa Fuego.

Velocity Island Park is located in Woodland, CA, right next to Davis and just 20 minutes from Sacramento. That means easy access for students across the region.
UC Davis
Woodland is right next door to Davis. A 10 to 15 minute drive from campus to the lake. No freeway, no hassle.
Sacramento State
Just 12 miles from Sac State. Take I-5 north and you are at the lake in about 20 minutes.

Easy to reach from Sacramento City College, Sierra College, Cosumnes River College, and other schools across the region.
