About Velocity Island Park

Northern California's lakefront adventure destination since 2013. Located on 15 acres of beautiful lakefront property in Woodland, CA, just 20 minutes from Sacramento.

Our story

Velocity Island Park has been bringing families, friends, and thrill-seekers together on the water since 2013. What started as a cable wakeboard park has grown into Northern California's premier lakefront destination, combining water sports, dining, and event spaces into one unforgettable experience.

Sitting on 15 acres of lakefront property in Woodland, CA, the park is just 20 miles from downtown Sacramento, right off Interstate 5, and only 12 miles from Sacramento International Airport. That makes us one of the most accessible outdoor adventure destinations in the region.

Over the years, we have continued to invest in new attractions and improvements. Today, the park features a 30,000 sq ft floating aqua park, a main cable and training cable for wakeboarding, private swim beach sites, beach bonfires, and more. There is truly something for everyone.
